Description
Do you want to be warm in a dive? Then dive dry. Unlike a wetsuit, a dry suit isolates you from the outside water and keeps you warm! Even in surprisingly cold water. Dry suits allow you to dive in harder and more challenging places, while extending your diving season or even letting it run out.
Prerequisites
Be certified as Open Water Diver (or qualified certification)
(All courses are PADI and include basic diving equipment, diving insurance and certification fee)
Academics
Acquire all the knowledge and skills to dress safely, dive, remove and store the dry suit. Know the different types of suits so you can make a well informed decision if you decide to buy a dry suit. You’ll learn:
- Buoyancy control techniques with dry suit.
- Dry suit maintenance, storage and basic repairs.
- Options of insulating underwear (wool or underwear of all kinds used under the dry suit).
Your next adventure
Diving with dry suit is the specialty most demanded by divers who like to go down to the depths, since it is cooler down there. That is why this specialty is the ideal complement for the deep dive speciality course, as well as the specialty enriched air diver NITROX.
