This is an easy-to-dive archeological wreck since it is at a depth of 7m. Ideal for diving courses and fun dives. History tells that it is a French Galeon that was burned and sunk by the French themselves to avoid capture by the English who protected Gibraltar, however there are also stories that it is a Spanish vessel. This galeon equipped with cannons also carried buckles and buttons for the uniforms of the soldiers and the days after the storm you can still find these bronze remains. This dive site is always populated with a wide variety of fish, including Sea Bream, Conger Eels, Octopus, Wrasse, Blennies, and cuttlefish when we’re lucky. WE also regularly partake in underwater cleanups at this site, in an attempt to preserve this truly special dive site.
