The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program is a pivotal step in your professional diving career, enabling you to teach and certify new divers.

The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course trains you to teach scuba diving, develop dive students, and lead PADI dive programs.
To qualify, you must be a PADI Divemaster or equivalent, with at least 100 logged dives, CPR/First Aid certification, and leadership experience.
You’ll learn how to plan and teach PADI courses, manage students, and improve your communication and teaching skills.
The course typically takes 1–2 months, depending on your availability and training schedule.
This is the first step to a career in scuba diving, allowing you to work as a PADI Instructor at dive shops, resorts, or liveaboards worldwide.
Payments:
- All courses must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
- Payments can be made via our accepted methods, either in person or through our online booking system.
Course Cancellation:
- If a dive is canceled by Estepona Dive Center due to adverse weather or sea conditions, clients will receive a full refund for the affected dive(s).
- We prioritize your safety and will make decisions regarding cancellations based on professional assessments of the conditions.
Non-Transferability:
- All courses, dives, and associated bookings are non-transferable. Bookings and course registrations are assigned to the individual and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
Client Responsibilities:
- Estepona Dive Center reserves the right to reschedule or cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, sea conditions, or instructor availability. In such cases, affected clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered either a refund or an alternative date.
No-Show Policy:
- No refunds will be given for no-shows or late arrivals that result in missed sessions. Please ensure you arrive on time and are prepared for your scheduled activities.
