Enhance Your Dives with the PADI Enriched Air Diver Course

Discover how nitrox enables longer dives and learn to dive safely with enriched air through convenient online independent study. After finishing your independent study, you’ll learn how to analyze a tank, fill out an enriched air log, and set your dive computer for nitrox. There are two optional dives.

What you’ll learn

  • Understanding Nitrox: Learn the benefits of diving with enriched air, including extended bottom time and reduced surface intervals.
  • Dive Planning and Limits: Master how to plan dives with Nitrox, including maximum depth limits and oxygen exposure management.
  • Equipment Use and Analysis: Gain hands-on experience in analyzing oxygen levels in tanks and using Nitrox-compatible dive equipment.
  • Safety Considerations: Understand key safety protocols for enriched air diving, including potential risks and how to mitigate them effectively.
  • Practical Application: Apply your knowledge during practice scenarios to build confidence in using Nitrox on future dives.

Course prerequisites:Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)

Minimum age: 12

Duration: 1 day

During the Enriched Air Diver course, your instructor will ask you to:

  • Learn how to analyze your cylinder to ensure proper oxygen content.
  • Practice setting your dive computer for nitrox use.
  • Understand the importance of maximum depth limits and oxygen exposure management.
  • Plan and execute dives using enriched air to extend your no-decompression limits.

The Enriched Air Diver course teaches you how to use enriched air (nitrox) for longer and safer dives, especially at recreational depths.

Divers aged 12 or older with an Open Water Diver certification can take the Enriched Air Diver course to dive with enriched air.

You’ll learn how to use enriched air safely, plan dives with nitrox, and how to analyze the oxygen content of your tank.

This course is a short, specialty course typically completed in one day with no required dives.

Using enriched air allows for longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals, which is ideal for divers looking to maximize their dive experiences.

Payments:

  • All courses must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • Payments can be made via our accepted methods, either in person or through our online booking system.

Course Cancellation:

  • If a dive is canceled by Estepona Dive Center due to adverse weather or sea conditions, clients will receive a full refund for the affected dive(s).
  • We prioritize your safety and will make decisions regarding cancellations based on professional assessments of the conditions.

Non-Transferability:

  • All courses, dives, and associated bookings are non-transferable. Bookings and course registrations are assigned to the individual and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Estepona Dive Center reserves the right to reschedule or cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, sea conditions, or instructor availability. In such cases, affected clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered either a refund or an alternative date.

No-Show Policy:

  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or late arrivals that result in missed sessions. Please ensure you arrive on time and are prepared for your scheduled activities.
