Dry Suit Diver – Dive Year-Round in Comfort
Extend your dive season! Learn how to get certified as a Dry Suit Diver, stay warm in cold water, and explore new dive locations in any weather.
The PADI Dry Suit Diver course trains you to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit, allowing you to explore colder water environments while staying warm.
Who Should Take This Course?
- Divers who want to extend their dive season into colder months or regions.
- Anyone interested in exploring cold-water environments, such as mountain lakes or icy oceans.
What You’ll Learn:
- Proper techniques for donning, doffing, and maintaining a dry suit.
- How to manage buoyancy using a dry suit.
- Safety procedures for handling emergency situations specific to dry suit diving.
Course Prerequisites: PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or qualifying entry-level certification)
Minimum age: 10 years old
Duration: 2-3 days (dives must be completed over at least two days).
Total Dives: 1 Confined / 2 Open Water
During the Dry Suit Diver course, your instructor will ask you to:
Complete the knowledge review and confined water skills session.
Successfully demonstrate dry suit diving skills in two open water dives.
This course teaches you how to safely dive in colder water using a dry suit, providing thermal protection and buoyancy control.
Divers aged 12 or older with an Open Water Diver certification can take the Dry Suit Diver course.
You’ll learn how to use a dry suit effectively, control buoyancy, and manage thermal protection while diving in cold water.
The course can be completed in 1–2 days and includes confined and open water training.
If you want to dive in cold water or extend your diving season, this course is essential for learning the necessary skills and techniques for dry suit diving.
Payments:
- All courses must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
- Payments can be made via our accepted methods, either in person or through our online booking system.
Course Cancellation:
- If a dive is canceled by Estepona Dive Center due to adverse weather or sea conditions, clients will receive a full refund for the affected dive(s).
- We prioritize your safety and will make decisions regarding cancellations based on professional assessments of the conditions.
Non-Transferability:
- All courses, dives, and associated bookings are non-transferable. Bookings and course registrations are assigned to the individual and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
Client Responsibilities:
- Estepona Dive Center reserves the right to reschedule or cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, sea conditions, or instructor availability. In such cases, affected clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered either a refund or an alternative date.
No-Show Policy:
- No refunds will be given for no-shows or late arrivals that result in missed sessions. Please ensure you arrive on time and are prepared for your scheduled activities.
