During the Dive Against Debris Diver course, your instructor will ask you to:

Conduct a Dive Against Debris survey and submit findings.
Dive Against Debris is a PADI specialty course that teaches divers how to remove and record underwater debris to protect marine ecosystems.
Certified Open Water Divers (or higher) aged 12+ can join this course. A commitment to ocean conservation is all that’s needed!
You’ll learn how to conduct safe debris removal dives, log collected debris, and contribute to global marine conservation efforts.
Standard scuba gear is required, along with mesh bags or lift bags for debris collection, which are usually provided during the course.
The course typically includes one training dive and can be completed in a single day.
Yes! Completing Dive Against Debris earns you a PADI specialty certification and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating.
Payments:
- All courses must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
- Payments can be made via our accepted methods, either in person or through our online booking system.
Course Cancellation:
- If a dive is canceled by Estepona Dive Center due to adverse weather or sea conditions, clients will receive a full refund for the affected dive(s).
- We prioritize your safety and will make decisions regarding cancellations based on professional assessments of the conditions.
Non-Transferability:
- All courses, dives, and associated bookings are non-transferable. Bookings and course registrations are assigned to the individual and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
Client Responsibilities:
- Estepona Dive Center reserves the right to reschedule or cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, sea conditions, or instructor availability. In such cases, affected clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered either a refund or an alternative date.
No-Show Policy:
- No refunds will be given for no-shows or late arrivals that result in missed sessions. Please ensure you arrive on time and are prepared for your scheduled activities.
